Derek is a member of the Value Creation Team with a focus on go-to-market, commercial effectiveness, and other value creation activities across all sectors with a primary focus on Services.

Prior to joining Permira, Derek was a Managing Director with Blue Ridge Partners, a growth-focused consultancy serving private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Prior to that, Derek was an investment professional with Brahma Management, an emerging markets PE firm. Derek began his career at Goldman Sachs.
