Yongsuk (YS) Kim
Capital Formation - Managing Director, Head of Korea
Yongsuk (YS) joined Permira in 2018. He is a member of the Investor Coverage team within Capital Formation with responsibility for leading LP coverage in South Korea across both private equity and credit.
Prior to joining Permira, YS worked as a portfolio manager at the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives in Korea for three years where he managed global and domestic alternative assets, specialising in private equity and credit. Prior to that, he spent 15 years in institutional derivatives product Investor Coverage at Citibank, ING Bank, and several investment banking firms in Seoul.

Qualifications
YS holds a degree in German Literature with a minor in Business Administration from Korea University, Korea.
