Kulkarni to bring decades of product development and strategy expertise to further enhance Permira’s due diligence efforts and support portfolio companies
Menlo Park, 16 November 2023 – Permira, the global private equity firm, today announced the appointment of Amol Kulkarni as a Senior Adviser to its global Technology team.
Amol brings nearly 25 years of experience in product development and software engineering at leading technology companies, including most recently serving as Chief Product and Engineering Officer at CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity leader with an advanced cloud-native platform. Prior to CrowdStrike, Amol spent over 13 years at Microsoft where he rose to become a Principal Engineering Manager and led teams responsible for developing large-scale, next-generation applications. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dynatrace and JumpCloud.
At Permira, Amol will leverage his industry knowledge, network and decades of product development expertise to support investment origination, due diligence and value creation, with a focus on Generative AI.
