Ian Jackson

Ian joined Permira Credit in July 2022 and is Head of Strategic Opportunities.

Ian brings over 25 years of experience in private credit, with a proven track record of advising on special situations investment opportunities. He joins Permira Credit from Carlyle, which he joined in 2009 and was most recently a Managing Director and Head of Carlyle Strategic Partners. Prior to Carlyle, Ian was a senior research analyst with Deutsche Bank’s European Distressed and Special Situations Group, investing across the capital structure from senior secured debt to equity, liquidations, refinancing’s, private equity and special situations.
